Water Filtration Methods

Water coolers also use a variety of methods to filter the water. These include:

Carbon Block Filtration - Water is forced through the block to remove bad odour, chemical residues & improve taste.

Carbon Granule Filtration - Water flows through carbon granules which absorbs chlorine & removes bad odours & tastes.

Ceramic Filtration - This works in the same way as carbon block filtration but filters to a higher standard.

Filtration happens in stages often the ceramic filter is the initial filtration followed by the carbon filter to ensure clean, sediment and chemical free water.

Stage 1: Pre foam filter - removes sediment from the water.

Stage 2: Ceramic filter - Fine pores remove further sediment, smell and harmful bacteria. It removes particles down to 1 micron.

Stage 3: Carbon filter - Further removes particles and sediment and improves the overall taste of the water. It removes particles down to 25 microns.
